The Internet as a Source of information for Migrants from Eastern Europe

Berlin, 15th November 2007: With the support of the Foundation for Population, Migration and Environment (PME, Stäfa, Switzerland), the European Exchange currently is carrying out a research study on migration from Eastern Europe to Germany and the significance of the internet as a source of information for migrants from Non-EU countries in Eastern Europe. The main aim of the study is to explore possibilities to enhance the transparency of German and EU migration regulations for migrants from Eastern Europe and to develop future projects in this field.

The study will be published on the EA’s website and presented to the public in September 2008.
