Kiev Dialogue organized podium discussion "Minsk II in the dead end? Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Western sanctions and the future of the European peace order"

Kyiv Dialogue organized on August 30, 2016 a podium discussion in Munich, which focused on the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict and inability of both sides of the conflict to fulfill the Minsk agreements. Key panelists: Hans-Peter Uhl, deputy of the German Bundestag, Oksana Syroid, deputy of the Ukrainian Parliament and Andreas Umland, academic fellow at the Institute for the Euro-Atlantic cooperation based in Kyiv, discussed the main reasons and outcomes of the conflict for Europe and European peace order, the role of sanctions against Russia for the implementation of the Minsk agreements and consequences of softening of the sanctions for the Europe.
