Prague, August 17th 2012: In the framework of the EU-Russia Civil Society Forum European Exchange and GOLOS, the Association of Russian election observers have held a workshop with 22 participants from civil society organisations from Belarus, the Czekh Republic, Germany, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Russia and Sweden in order to discuss better coordination and cooperation of civil society organisations in the field of non partisan, domestic election observation throughout Europe. The workshop was hosted and organised by People in Need and DEMAS form the Czekh Republic. A policy paper with the main findings and recommendations will be elaborated during September 2012.
