Berlin, 1st March 2012: On 8th March, European Exchange together with the German Association for East-European Studies, the Heinrich Boell Foundation and the Russian election monitoring organisation GOLOS will stage a conference in the venues of the Representation of the European Commission in Berlin. True to the slogan "Every vote counts, but who counts the vote?" the participants, Marieluise Beck (MP), Patricia Flor (MFA), Lilia Shibanova (GOLOS), Stefanie Schiffer (European Exchange), Nicolai Petrov (Carnegie Center Moscow), Heike Dörrenbächer (DGO) as well as Matthias Petschke (EC Representation) will discuss the results of the presidential elections in Russia and their impact on the future political development in the country.
