The European Platform for Democratic Elections (EPDE) improves the professional quality of domestic election observers through the development and implementation of unified standards and comparable observation methods within domestic election observation networks in Europe.
EPDE encourages, trains, and defends experts and citizens who stand up for transparent and equal suffrage wherever it is at risk in Europe – be it in the European Union’s member states or in the European neighbourhood.
EPDE is a signatory of the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation and the Code of Conduct for International Election Observation. EPDE also is a member of the Global Network of Domestic Election Monitors (GNDEM).
The European Exchange holds the secretariat of the EPDE.

The Kyiv Dialogue is a nonpartisan and independent platform facilitating and enhancing the dialogue between Ukraine and Germany. It brings together opinion-building actors from the spheres of politics, business, media, and civil society from both countries.
The Kyiv Dialogue was founded in 2005 after the Orange Revolution in Ukraine. Since 2014, in partnership with the International Renaissance Foundation in Kyiv and regional cooperation partners in Charkiw, Odessa, Dnipro, and Tscherkassy, the Kyiv Dialogue has conducted dozens of public events on current socio-political topics in Germany and Ukraine. The European Exchange holds the secretariat of the Kyiv Dialogue.
The programme is conceptualized and implemented by a volunteer steering group of researchers, NGO representatives, journalists, and representatives of foundations from Ukraine and Germany.

The Initiative Quorum is a programmes of the European Exchange which targets voters with a migration background in Germany. This project seeks to strengthen the motivation of citizens with a migration background in Germany to actively participate in political and democratic processes and elections.
Democracy thrives on participation and contribution. It can only function if enough citizens get involved, participate in political processes, and fill the political system with life. Hence our name: "Quorum". In a democratic system, enough citizens have to cast their vote in order for a vote to be valid.
Initiative Quorum's main goal is voter education. We conduct sociological research and information campaigns, organize trainings for activists and expert events, and our website provides information on upcoming European and German elections and other related topics.
